Carmen Davenporte-McNeal is director of public relations for Turner Entertainment Networks, a part of Turner Broadcasting System Inc. In this role, she manages publicity campaigns for original programming that appears on TNT and TBS. Davenporte-McNeal works on series that include TNT’s number one show Rizzoli & Isles, Perception and Major Crimes for TNT and Cougar Town for TBS.

Davenporte-McNeal is an entertainment media specialist who has more than 15 years of public relations experience. Prior to joining Turner, she worked at The CW Television Network (formally UPN), where she led campaigns for the network’s number one show, America’s Next Top Model, in addition to The Game and Girlfriends.

Davenporte-McNeal worked in the Corporate Entertainment division of Los Angeles-based entertainment public relations firm Bragman Nyman Cafarelli, where she provided publicity and marketing to support the careers of executive producers Tracey Edmonds (Soul Food, Josie & The Pussycats) and Debra Martin Chase (The Princess Diaries, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants). Davenporte-McNeal also executed campaigns for Sony PlayStation, The Producer’s Guild and The Costume Designer’s Guild. In addition, Davenporte-McNeal worked for several smaller firms, where she handled restaurant, retail and cable network clients.

Davenporte-McNeal is a native of Columbus, Ohio. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Hampton University. In her free time she enjoys working out/running, watching college football and NASCAR and spending time with her family.
