Davida Selby is an account executive in Edelman’s Atlanta Consumer Brands practice. She joined Edelman following a two-year career at Condé Nast Publications, where she worked as an editorial public relations coordinator.

At Edelman, Davida has worked on the Alvin Ailey account where she developed an influencer list called the Ailey 50 and she currently works on the Unilever Tress Apprentice Hair Influencer Program, Vanity Fair®, Open Hand and eBay accounts. Davida is also the 8095 representative for the Atlanta office, she has worked on the global Brands We’re Watching initiative and is an ACT representative.

Davida’s expertise is in influencer programs, event planning and non-profit work. She represented the Atlanta office in the 2011 3 day Susan G. Komen walk. She has also assisted with Edelman Atlanta’s goodpurpose and Trust 2011 events and she is currently serves on the board of a local Atlanta non-profit, The Collective Renaissance Guild, LLC.

On a personal note, she has lived in Ghana, West Africa for four years, and she freelanced as a celebrity fashion stylist during her stint in New York.
 
Davida has a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in African-American Studies from Emory University.
